To whom it may concern, I am in the process of buying a vehicle and was just wondering if a car is due a service, is it the responsibility of the dealer to do this service before the car is sold? The car is a Feb 2017 Hyundai I30 diesel and the warranty states 12 month / 10,000 - although under the 12 months it has 10,121 on the clock but the service has not been carried out and the garage is claiming they are not responsible for carrying this out. I would go elsewhere but I can not find another vehicle with the same spec to this car in the colour etc we want. If I knew it was the dealers responsibility then I would push it, but dont know the legal right. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Dan
