Always a favourite car of ours, the Passat CC and latterly CC. Good looking, nice to drive and surprisingly roomy inside. Being based on the Passat, they’re obviously pretty robust, but the usual advice to only buy one that comes with a full and complete service history applies. You’re also going to be limited to a 2.0-litre engine, so your insurance costs may go up if you’re trading up from something smaller.
