Have a specific question in mind?
My son who lives in Munich needs a car mostly for weekends as he is into mountain biking and skiing. What estate or large hatch would you recommend with a budget under €6,000?
Thanks for the advice; I've had a look at BMW's premium selection and they are a bit out of my price range (and seem to be about €3- 4k over what independent dealers are charging for similar cars). Would an extended warranty be a viable option and save on the main dealer premium?
Hi, I'm in the market for a 09-11 BMW 520d, I have read in the press recently that there have been issues with the timing chain failing on the BMW 2.0 diesel (N47) engine fitted to these cars, which costs a lot to repair. Is this a significant problem, should I be looking elsewhere?
Thanks, John
I'm seriously considering buying a 2015 Subaru Forester. It's a 2.0-litre CVT petrol. I'm wondering if I am in traffic with the transmission in drive will it creep when I take my foot off the brakes or do I have to feather the throttle to creep along?
Any information would be gratefully appreciated.
Does a 2004 Skoda Fabia have a timing belt or chain? When should it be replaced?
I am thinking of buying an Audi TT, but my budget is only €5-6k. Is this price range good to get a second hand TT that would be reliable? What are the problems that I should look out for?
Thanks for any advice you can give
How much would I get for a 2008 Subaru Outback? It has a manual gearbox and 2.0-litre boxer diesel engine with 172,000km on the clock. High spec with AWD, leather interior, heated seats, Xenon lights etc, four new tyres, two owners. In excellent condition with full service history.
Reliable and efficient seven-seater, what would you recommend?
Hi, I was looking at a Audi dealer 2011 Audi A4: 120hp, 2.0 diesel, Sport, quartz grey metallic, Bluetooth, Sports seats, NCT to 2017, one-year bumper to bumper warranty, Parking assist, 17-inch upgraded alloys. Is €22,000 too much?
Thanks
Hi, I bought an 02 Range Rover and if I don't start it after a day or so the battery goes flat. Should I get a new battery?
