Hi. I am considering importing a 2014 VW Polo 1.2L, model S 60PS 3dr (65,000miles) from the UK and am trying to calculate the cost of the VRT + VAT + Import Duty to determine the overall cost, Any insights you can provide on this would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Hi Shane, I'm looking for an SUV or estate in petrol, petrol hybrid or PHEV, and am having trouble finding the right fit. Budget is max €43k on a straight deal, and I'd rather buy new or ex-demo. Spec wise it needs auto gearbox, leather seats, and a decent boot over 500 litres. XC40 boot is too small. Same for Qashqai. The Mazda CX-5 seemed to tick every box until I read about the thirsty engine. That being said I do low mileage, so I've not completely ruled it out. Please can you recommend a few for the shortlist, ideally within the premium marques. Many thanks Tony

I've just purchased a Nissan qashqai 2010, only yesterday, from a garage, I've just noticed the windows are not working properly, the wipers are not working properly, I've been told by the seller it was serviced, the oil is black, he's ignoring my request to have these issues resolved, I'm wondering if you can help me with information about my rights,
Hi Is it true that car imported from the UK will have to pay VAT at 21% in addition to VRT already payable. If so are the rules different for a car imported from Northern Ireland. Thanks Aidan
