Belt or chain in this Insignia?
Looking at an 11 Sri insignia 2l 160bhp. Do they have belt or chain and when does it need changed. It has 183000 miles

Assuming you mean the diesel, it has indeed got a timing belt. It must be changed every 150,000km or six years, whichever comes first. If it has never been changed, we urge you to get it done ASAP.
