Is €6500 a reasonable price for this 2010 Volkswagen Golf? I am looking to buy a 2010 Volkswagen Golf from a private seller. It's a 1.6 TDI manual Comfortline 5 door in grey with 282000km, full service history and a full year's tax and NCT. The timing belt and water pump were done recently. The car has full black leather seats, heated front seats, multifunction leather steering wheel, bluetooth phone, front and rear parking sensors with park assist, front foglights, and 18 inch VW alloys over a standard Comfortline. The car is in decent condition for its age. However, there are rust chips in the paintwork - several tiny chips (about a few mm in diameter) on the bonnet, and a larger chip (about a cm in diameter) under one of the taillights. How much would these chips devalue the car and how much would they cost to fix?
