You'll need to tell us what you mean by a medium price range as everyone is different in that regard.

Nonetheless, you will need something that can comfortably tow over 2,000kg, which will rule out most normal cars and estates, leaving you with SUVs to choose from. And one with four-wheel drive will do better of course, even in good conditions.
