What paperwork is needed when buying a used car in a private sale? Bizarre this is not discussed anywhere (or, if it is, not easily discoverable!) In the US you get the car title and a bill of sale, but in Ireland I believe it is different.

I drive a 2008 BMW 520d msport but am really disappointed with the sluggish lack of power, i have had the dpf and rest of it decarbonised (which still only returns 40mpg) is there anything i can do to make it feel more like a BMW should? eg. remapping etc and i would appreciate any help to point me in the direction of a decent company that could remap the N47 engine (that has had no timing chain problem) and doesn't charge a fortune. I have suzuki ignis 11 years as old as my dog who used jump in and out no problem but the last year she wont jump in or out an I cant lift her in as she is to heavy. what car would have a lower booth for her to jump into? Many thanks
