Hi, I have a land rover defender with a discovery 3.9 v8 engine 1998 model and it runs great but every while it just turns off after driving it and stopping on a traffic light as for an example.... Resently I've been advices by the mechanic to adjust the air flow by my self after he just lost hope in dealing with the problem..... As so I've been trying to get to the exact required adjustment with no use. Please help me and I'll really appreciate

What car should I go for? Driving a 1 litre Peugeot 208 3 door but need a 5 door and love the look of a Renault clio but unfortunately everyone is very tall in my family and they can't fit in the back. I also found the Peugeot didn't move on the motorway so would like something that has a bit of speed and space. Budget is as little as possible. Thanks
