Hello there was looking to get another car, we have a Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.6L petrol and was looking up the Puegeot 5008 or Grand Picasso which are mostly 1.6L Diesel engines, we don't travel far so we heard that a diesel engine is only suitable for long distances? Is this true or is their a way to keep the engine clean like take it out once a week on a really good spin? Are the Puegeot 5008's reliable because we would be looking at years 2012-2015 really.
