I found Toyota prius with a full service history but with motor check there is 3 recalls from toyata how can i be sure that Toyota fix it or once it enters Toyota for service it would fix any factory issue? What about prius 2004?

Thinking of buying a mitsubishi lancer in petrol 1600cc as they are 8 year warranty and the price is very reasonable for a brand new car Is it worth considering . currently drive 30000 to 35000 yearly and petrol prices are after falling. Other diesel cars are in the region of 24000 euros in that class but was thinking would the lancer purchase price outweigh the price of a diesel car. if a buy this car I would be holding on to it for 5 years.
