Enquired about replacement struts for boot. Quoted e197. Replaced them myself for e50 ordered from Mr Auto, took 5 minutes. This time gear knob clip broke not allowing me to reverse. Replacement gear knob e50 but labour was e550. A minor service on the day e370 which included oil change, new window wipers and a small light over the reg. Just shy of e1,000. Called before work began and after so took about three hours max. Having bought my car and returned there since 2019 for services etc over the years, this was the most expensive repair and service. As car was towed no other option than to go ahead. I initially rang Peugeot Ireland and they told me there was a six week waiting period for repair. The lady here was very nice and made an effort to expedite to two weeks which I was thankful for.
