Okay where to start. This was my first time that I bought a car from a dealer and I have to say I was in very safe hands with Western Motors and with their Salesman Stuart. Stuart was patient, helpful and informative. Always available to ask questions, always brimming with knowledge and expertise. Helped me every step of the way in purchasing my own ID.7. It’s such an amazing car from such an amazing team and I want to thank everyone including Stuart for their amazing support and help. I highly recommend them.
I recently purchased from Western Motors Drogheda and have to say it was a flawless experience from beginning to end. Many thanks to salesman Liam for his guidance and help throughout the process. Absolutely delighted with my purchase, would highly recommend.
We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Skoda Western Motors and couldn’t be happier to leave a five-star review! A huge thank you to Anthony, the Brand Manager, for all his incredible help and support throughout the entire process. From the very beginning, he made finding our brand new Skoda Karoq smooth, stress-free, and genuinely enjoyable. His knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail really stood out. Anthony went above and beyond by assisting us with the disability grant process, guiding us every step of the way and ensuring everything was handled efficiently and successfully. His dedication and willingness to help made a huge difference to us, and we are extremely grateful. We’re absolutely delighted with our new car and the outstanding service we received. We highly recommend Skoda Western Motors, and especially Anthony, to anyone looking for a top-class experience. Thank you again!
I purchased a 2023 Skoda Kodiaq from Western Motors on 15 January and unfortunately the experience has been disappointing from start to finish. I sold my previous car privately on 22 January after being assured by Dara that the Kodiaq would be ready within a week. However, the vehicle was not ready until 3 February. While the garage did provide a loan car, the repeated delays meant I had to contact my insurance company multiple times to extend temporary cover. I also had to request a letter from the garage to confirm the arrangement. Dara initially seemed unfamiliar with this requirement and eventually sent a letter containing the wrong name. The vehicle was sent for valeting before collection, including the mats and boot mat. When I collected the car, none of the mats had been returned. After numerous texts and phone calls, I finally received the boot mat on 1 May. The spare key was also unavailable when I purchased the vehicle. I waited until 1 May to collect it, only to spend approximately an hour at the garage while it was programmed to the vehicle. The Kodiaq came with a tow bar and I was assured on the day of purchase that a key was available to remove and refit it. Dara confirmed he would contact the previous owner to obtain it. After months of chasing through texts and calls, and eventually dealing directly with his manager Anthony, I finally received the key on 5 June. Throughout this process, Dara provided very little assistance and even suggested that my husband contact the tow bar manufacturer himself because he was too busy. To make matters worse, the vehicle went into limp mode twice. It was booked into the garage on 5 June, parts were ordered, and I was told the repair would be completed on 12 June. The garage confirmed the vehicle would be ready at 5:30pm that day. However, when my husband called after 4:30pm, he was informed that it would not be ready until Monday. This resulted in another loan car being arranged and another temporary insurance change. On 15 June, I was told the vehicle would be ready around lunchtime. When I called at 12pm, I was informed that it was unlikely to be ready until the following day. While some staff members did try to help by arranging loan vehicles, the overall level of communication, delays, missing items, broken promises, and lack of follow-through have been extremely frustrating. Purchasing a vehicle should not involve months of chasing for basic items, repeated insurance changes, and ongoing uncertainty about when the car will actually be available. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Western Motors. Had I known the level of inconvenience and stress involved, I would have chosen to buy elsewhere.
Just wanted to say thanks for the quick turnaround on my car service. Being kept updated at every stage was a huge plus, and the efficiency of the team is much appreciated. I’ll definitely be back!
