2nd time purchasing vehicle from Kia Sheridan Waterford, found sales department (Darren Walsh) excellent to deal with. The garage show room is lovely and the facilities excellent. My only gripe would be trying to park your own vehicle because parking is tight. But overall 5⭐️
I recently brought my car in for a service and specifically asked for the damaged splash guard to be repaired or replaced. When I checked my invoice afterwards, there was no mention of this work. When I queried it, I was told not to worry because it had been repaired. After looking under the car myself, I discovered the splash guard hadn’t been repaired or replaced at all — it had simply been removed. No one informed me of this, and no options were offered regarding ordering the part or the cost involved. When I returned to the service department to ask why nothing had been done, I was given a vague explanation that “they must have expected them to order the part”. This is not good enough. It is the responsibility of the service team to tell the customer if a part needs to be ordered, not leave the car partially dismantled without saying a word. What made the situation worse was the attitude of the Service Manager. When I explained the issue, he told me that if it was his car, he wouldn’t even worry about having it sorted. He showed absolutely no interest in acknowledging that I was never given my options, and he repeatedly interrupted me while I was explaining why I was frustrated. The dismissive tone and lack of professionalism were extremely disappointing. Overall, I was left with a car missing a part I requested to be repaired, no communication, no explanation, and a manager who dismissed my concerns entirely. This is not the level of service or transparency any customer should expect.
On second Kia purchase from Micky Breslin sound to deal with. All works overseen by Owen Power absolutely on the ball great service.
God help you if you need your car fixed here. Service is abysmal. They don't call you when they say they will. They don't order parts when they say they will. They had our car in 6 times in over 6 months for 1 fault. It's still broken. They still charged us several times for parts and time even though it isn't fixed. The problems go on and on. You might be thinking, they can't be that bad. They're worse. Steer clear. They'll take your money and leave your car more broken than it was to begin with.
Thomas could not have done any more for us! They are the most helpful team in Sheridan’s. They will never leave you stuck without a replacement car and will do everything they can to make the experience seamless for the customer. I ended up getting a car that was perfect for my needs and made financial sense. The whole experience was 10/10 for me. I’d give more stars if I could.
