I’m writing this review after six months of owning the car, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this garage. I purchased my first hybrid, a BMW 530e, from Rockfield Cars last summer and dealt with Richard throughout the process. Richard took the time to explain everything clearly and ensured the car was the right fit for me. After the test drive, the vehicle unfortunately developed a fault, but Richard handled the issue promptly and professionally. Since collecting the car, it has been an absolute pleasure to drive. I would be more than happy to purchase another car from them in the future. Thank you once again!
Avoid. Car was advertised as full service history but there was missing history for over 3 years in the service book when I viewed the car. Richard repeatedly insisted there was but clearly had not even looked at the service book. He told me the car was probably parked up during Covid so there wasn’t history and brush over the fact which actually is worse. He did get the service booked stamped after all that but I had lost all trust in him at this stage, definitely unusual for a main dealer not to stamp a service book. I paid a deposit based on the details advertised which I was also told was refundable but he refused to pay back the deposit when I wasn’t interested in the car.
Keith was very helpful in the recent mangement of the sale of my car. Communication was clear and precise and all deadlines were met with ease. Also, a very fair price was recieved for my car. His second hand cars are clearly of a high standard, as Keith would only sell the cars that are in the best condition (like mine was).
Smooth and hassle-free buying experience! Very professional service. Richard was an amazing salesman to deal with, genuinely helpful and honest throughout. I bought a Nissan Leaf, and the car is in excellent condition and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a stress-free used car purchase.
The car had many serious problems when it was sold to me, which were only discovered because I took it to a private garage. The service from Richard was terrible from start to finish. The car was "immaculate, serviced by the manufacturer, "perfect." But after buying the car I had to travel to their services several times, losing my time, and they were never able to fix all the problems. At one stage, they even stopped replying to my messages. Eventually the company owner spoke to me & refunded my money, but I spent more than 4 months dealing with this. Also, trying to recover the extra money I had paid for a warranty (for a car that was meant to be in perfect condition) was also difficult and time-consuming.
