I rang two days in a row, wanting to buy a new Octavia, woman on reception was lovely, told me I’d get a call back, I didn’t. On the second day when I rang again, I was told there was two salesmen on that day and I was on Darragh’s list for a call back, never happened. Very poor customer service, especially when I stated I was looking to buy a brand new car and was ready to go ahead with a sale.

Disappointing experience and lack of understanding, I was interested in purchasing a vehicle that they originally sold brand new octavia 2021. However, the sales manager refused to provide basic technical records and accident/damage history, citing GDPR. This is highly misleading, as the Irish Data Protection Commission has clarified that technical car history is NOT personal data. While I understand redacting a previous owner's name, withholding the mechanical history of the product they sold is unhelpful and creates a lack of transparency. If you’re looking for a dealer that provides full disclosure on their cars, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

Poor poor service. Sales man refused to leave desk. Pointed at the exit door and told us where the car was we were looking for. Come on. Asked for a test drive and was told no test drives unless you were going to buying the car. My god this place is a joke. Bald angry salesman. Hope no one buys from ye.

My wife Went I to the skoda garage to look at purchasing a 22 or 23 Skoda Kodiaq. Had none in stock and was told by the salesman Keith that he had more coming in and would be in touch. we were looking at trading or a straight sale no finance. He said he would put our car out to trade for offers and never heard anything. That was the first week in January, and still have heard nothing back from them. They have posted numerous Kodiaqs on car sales websites plus their own site, and we we never contacted by the garage. We had no choice but to take our business to another garage in Dublin where we were treated like humans. Like a previous review stated, unless you were in an expensive suit and tie and wanted something out of the wrapper, they had no interest in dealing with us. It's shocking that local people had to travel to Dublin to buy a car when you would imagine that local garages would want local business and local money. I would avoid this place and the rude sales team at all costs.

××Absolute disgusting customer service. I went in to Michael Moore Athlone Skoda to buy a car. I saw a car i was interested in, it was about 32K I asked the Brand Manager to price up what I could get for my car towards it. (I did my homework before hand I was quoted between 4.5 to 5K from three other places) He told me he'll reach out and get a price because the car was 2015 they don't sell cars as old as that. and he said he'd let me know in a day or 2. One week went by no word, I called on the phone and he wasn't in, I was told they would call back the next day. No word again the next day. So I drove all the way to Athlone for a 2nd time and spoke to the brand Manager AGAIN, and he had no update. He then fumbled around on his phone and said I'll give you 2k for your car. I told him I got offered around 5k from other places he told me and I quote "You should go with them instead". Michael Moore must be doing absolutely fantastic profit if they would let 32k walk out the door like that. I've never experienced anything like it. Don't waste your time going to Michael Moore Skoda Athlone. Save yourself being ripped off by a greedy Brands Manager. Only gave 1 star because you can't go any lower.
