I rang two days in a row, wanting to buy a new Octavia, woman on reception was lovely, told me I’d get a call back, I didn’t. On the second day when I rang again, I was told there was two salesmen on that day and I was on Darragh’s list for a call back, never happened. Very poor customer service, especially when I stated I was looking to buy a brand new car and was ready to go ahead with a sale.

Disappointing experience and lack of understanding, I was interested in purchasing a vehicle that they originally sold brand new octavia 2021. However, the sales manager refused to provide basic technical records and accident/damage history, citing GDPR. This is highly misleading, as the Irish Data Protection Commission has clarified that technical car history is NOT personal data. While I understand redacting a previous owner's name, withholding the mechanical history of the product they sold is unhelpful and creates a lack of transparency. If you’re looking for a dealer that provides full disclosure on their cars, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

We went to Skoda in Athlone today looking to buy a brand new skoda. We walked in and two sales men were there chatting . We walked over to the cars and after a few minutes my husband saw one of the reps nudge the other to go over to us . He had to be told to go over to us . We chatted for a few minutes and he took our details . He didn't offer much information on the cars at all . He then said he would email us some prices and as we were leaving , he said to my shock ,that if he didn't get back to us. That we should give 'HIM' a call back . Absolutely awful service. We won't be buying a car from them .

Poor poor service. Sales man refused to leave desk. Pointed at the exit door and told us where the car was we were looking for. Come on. Asked for a test drive and was told no test drives unless you were going to buying the car. My god this place is a joke. Bald angry salesman. Hope no one buys from ye.

There is a reason we've returned to Michael Moore Skoda Athlone over the years (coming across from Drogheda) its the honesty, knowledge and service we get from Keith, the man is a top bloke nothing but respect for him! We've bought a combi superb traded to an enyaq then bought our kodiaq today and love it! With 2 skodas in the drive you might say we're a tad biased and possibly so as we've never had an issue with them. We'll definitely be back in a couple years wanting to deal with Keith again!!
