If I could give zero stars, I would. Dealing with the Ford Parts team was like being stuck in reverse. I bought a part from them, trusted their “expert” advice, and guess what? It was the wrong one. My NCT was the next day, so I was under serious pressure. When I brought the part back to show them it was not compatible with my car (with a picture of proof) they doubled down and tried to tell me it was the right one - as if my mechanic didn’t know what he was talking about. Thankfully, my mechanic sourced the proper part elsewhere and had me sorted in no time. But when I went back to return the incorrect piece (in perfect condition, exactly as I got it) they flat-out refused to give me a refund. Apparently, customer satisfaction isn’t part of the Ford service manual. They didn’t even have the guts to face me each time. They sent out 3 of their team including the manager Thomas Quinlan who originally gave me the wrong piece, David Malone who tried to explain to me my mechanic had to “realign it” when the part wouldn’t even scan and Alan Tobin who told me I couldn’t get a refund because Thomas hiding away in the back said so. Between the wrong advice, the runaround, and the refusal to stand over their mistake, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Save yourself the headache and go to someone who actually knows their parts and their policies.
From start to finish the experience was top class and I would have no hesitation in recommending Michael Lyng Motors to others. A pleasure to deal with always.
