I bought a 182 Toyota from Michael Barry here in Macroom motors. He went above and beyond to make me a very good deal and saw it through with no pressure. I was waiting for an insurance claim to pay for it as someone wrote off my old car. Thankyou to all the team who helped along the way. I am now driving a lovely second hand car and delighted with it. I will return to Macroom Motors again for my next car. Thanks.

A magnificent Toyota garage . The service is brilliant. They have a wonderful selection of second hand cars . The sales man are great and as I said the service men are what makes this garage wonderful

Very friendly and helpful staff, but I have one gripe, I don't like having to share the front reception desk, when you are exchanging insurance details etc, I would like to have it done more privately, separate room

Can't speak highly enough about the very excellent service received from Macroom Motor Services recently. Car broke down while on a walking holiday, Macroom arranged to see us within an hour and couldn't have been more helpful. Professional, obliging and friendly staff who rescued us from a very difficult day. Thanks to everyone.

***Misled and let down*** On Saturday last 27th of September 2025 at 10:52am I messaged Michael Barry Salesman at Macroom Motors in relation to an advert for a car on Carsireland. Not having received a reply I rang him at 12:09. He asked me to forward photos of my trade in car.I sent these at 12:14 and following some messages to and fro a deal was agreed at 14:18pm.He then messaged me saying he would hold the car until end of day Monday 29th.I did not see any reason to reply again following that message. On Monday my husband and I drove the distance of 105km arriving at 2:30pm. We quickly spotted the car and noticed a SOLD sign on it but we weren’t really concerned about that. The car was unlocked and we were satisfied with it having checked it out. Then along comes Michael Barry telling us the car was sold because I did not get back to him. He said another salesman had just taken a deposit over the phone. I told him he never asked me for a deposit and would have gladly paid it if asked. We told him he had agreed to hold the car until the end of the day and it was still only 2:30pm. He tried to make excuses that they had lots of enquiries about it and that he had told me that on the phone, a thing he had never mentioned. I wouldn’t advise anyone to take Michael Barry’s word when purchasing a car. I will not be going back to Macroom Motors and will not recommend it to any family or friends. This is not how you do business with people and highly unprofessional.
