My daughter bought a VW Beetle from Ashley a few months ago. We live in Cork so it was a bit of a journey to get the car and the fear that the car was going to be reliable considering the distance it is to Naas. It all turned out great. We did a good deal on price and she loves her car!!! A 3 month warranty was with the car and 2 months and 2 weeks into the warranty there was a smell of fuel in the car when it heated up. We got prices locally to fix this because of the distance involved in going to Naas but these prices were around €600 and they both said it was an injector problem. We brought the car back to Ashley at the end of December and he opened up specially for us and his mechanic came in to look at the fault. We were gone home 1 hour later with the fault fixed under warranty. It was a €30 valve connected to the air intake. Says a lot about the 2 mechanics in Cork that we went to. We can’t praise Ashley in Lux Car Sales enough for the way he dealt with us on the purchasing of the car and the repair under warranty. Thank you very much Ashley and buy a car from Lux Car Sales for good value and very good after car service.
