Good evening, I was very disappointed with Joe Duffy's auto repair shop in Athlone. I called the service a year ago and they told me that some parts needed to be changed because there were oil leaks. I made an appointment and paid as much as I was told but there were no changes and the oil is still flowing. I went after they changed my parts twice and there were no changes. I paid for the timing kit but it was not changed. I went to another mechanic today who told me that the kit was not changed and that the engine was full of oil in the back.

I had few things inspected on my Ford Focus. Within few hours the problem was fixed and I wasn't charged anything! Further more the appointment was quick and the staff was very polite and professional. I recommend!

Brought my Volvo XC90 to Joe Duffy's Athlone last week as the heat was not working. I received first class service. I had never dealt with this garage in the past but was given an appointment within two days of phoning. Carmel was so accommodating and understanding that I had driven from County Limerick. The staff there went above and beyond to accommodate me and provided a very comfortable room that I could work in. The fault was swiftly diagnosed and the spare part required was even in stock. I will certainly return for future routine servicing.
