Parts - quoted for a set of rear Park brake shoes for an L322. Drove an hour there. On arrival, it turns out they had only got one side in stock. The Parts advisor hadn’t a clue. His colleague blamed him for being a “new guy”. Typical JDM honeycomb culture. Looks like I’ll have to fit some hooky parts to save the day.
I just had the best service experience I’ve ever had in Dublin. Was able to book in within 2 weeks (I’ll not name other LR service centers that are booked out months 🤯). A quick easy drop off and pick up, no long waits or anything. Car was fully checked and any issues were explained fully. Danny in service was so pleasant to deal with, receptionist also helpful and friendly. Car was sparkling clean when collected. Inside & out. Thank you Joe Duffy Land Rover for the exceptional service. 5 stars across the board 👏🏽
I had a really disappointing experience at Land Rover Swords (Airside). I went in to look at a new Jeep & the showroom wasn’t busy at all, yet not one member of staff came over to speak to me or even acknowledge me. It felt disrespectful, especially considering I was there with genuine interest. The only reason I can think of is because I’m young and was wearing Snickers workwear, which clearly led them to assume I wasn’t a serious customer. It’s a shame to be judged based on appearance, especially in this day and age. You should never judge a book by its cover.
Very poor customer service. I have an issue with central locking in my Evoque. I went into Joe Duffy LR in Swords to book a repair. They currently have no availability. There seems to be a significant backlog, and they have closed their booking system for 6 weeks. This lack of repair availability appears to be an issue with all the main dealers for Land Rover; however, Joe Duffy was particularly unhelpful. I contacted Spirit Land Rover and found them very helpful.
Dropped off car to get aircon refilled , first time I went to use it did not work , I called and asked was a pressure test done they said no , I did the customer survey and got a call back , was then told the pressure test equipment had to be calibrated and was not working and would be min four weeks to get the car checked again, brought it back aircon working but when I got back in the car for the first time at the show room I noticed the 12v power cover missing on the drivers side , went back in and they could not find it , 2 weeks to get a replacement in. For such a large dealership a very dissapointing experience 1 week on no call back !
