Overall, I am very satisfied, and the salesperson who assisted me was fully professional. However, I cannot give five stars due to a few practices that potential customers should also be aware of: 1. The scrappage promotion leaves me with the feeling that I may have overpaid. I could have bought a damaged car for €500 and still been €1,500 better off, whereas I ended up paying the full price. It would be better if such promotions were available to everyone, not just selected customers. 2. I was already decided on this car and would have bought it anyway, but the fact that it was only mentioned—somewhat indirectly in the contract—that the car had undergone body repairs leaves a slight sense of dissatisfaction. 3. A similar situation as in point two—only one key is provided, and it does not include a remote for central locking, which again was not clearly highlighted upfront. In general, I am satisfied, but I chose your company because I had heard that buying from you would be safe, 100% honest, and transparent. Unfortunately, it fell just slightly short of that expectation.
Our first time ever at Hertz blarney and straight away we were made feel very comfortable by a salesperson Darren. iHave already recommended hertz to trade up.
Delighted with my purse for a 2023 Ford Puma until I tried to put petrol in it. Contacted Hertz car sales in Blarney explaining the problem, experienced in 2 different garages, Kieran told me to go to a Ford dealer as they were not equipped to assess any issue with the fuel cap. Ford dealer diagnostics identified an issue with the fuel valve and tube that would need to be replaced. I send on the quotation and detail to Kieran who said he'd have to send it up the chain. I have since messaged and rang with assurances he would call me back, which he still hasn't. Still chasing and very angry with the severe lack of after sales support for a clear repair that should be refunded.
