I had a poor experience with Herron Autos. I booked in for a recall and a service one month in advance and booked the day off work to travel one hour to them. I phoned the week before to confirm the booking and was informed there was none. There was no apology and the lady made out like I had made the error which I hadn't. She took my number and told me she would try and sort it out and phone me back. She never rang me back. Very unprofessional and unhelpful.

I bought a 2 years old Kia in Herron Auto last year, and I have just had it serviced last week. I feel that sharing my opinion now will be valuable for others for this reason, that buying a car is one thing, but having it fixed or serviced is a totally different area of experience. I must say that I have never had a better one in my entire life as a driver and car buyer. My opinion is also from a point of view of a woman. Everywhere I went before I was treated like the one who knows nothing and can be persuaded to buy whatever the seller suggests or wants to get rid of at that time. Often I was told to come back with my husband. "Unfortunately" they did not know that my husband will not take a decision for me, because he is not my 'owner', he is my partner who knows that I have my own idea what I need and it us up to me to make a choice. Therefore very often I was disappointed with this kind of approach, quite many times disgusted with the treatment. But not in Herron Auto. From the first visit they really listened to me, they tried to find a car I would be happy with. Even more, on the first day I was assisted by Adam, but when I came back Colton took over because Adam was not there. So it was not only one salesman, as an exception, but both were equally courteous, kind gentlemen with a fab selling but also communication skills. Whatever I did not understand, I was patiently explained. Collection of a car was smooth and quick. Buying process done using my mobile from the bus I was on heading to Dublin Airport - Christine from the office was exchanging emails with me without any complain that I am not there in person to do the application for a loan. Someone could say - ok, this is their business, they tried to impress the customer, well trained team. But then I came back twice to ask for an advice and fix a seat - I was treated extremely well and in professional yet personal manner. Then the service of the car - could not have a better experience than that. I appreciate the way they explain all the details and kindness of all in the premises. The only thing I regret they do not have a Chinese take away next door because I got hungry while waiting (gosh, I could order a pizza :-) ) I highly recommend Herron Auto, the best place to buy!
