As a professional driver, I stopped by at Great Island Motors this morning to get fuel/diesel for my car. I was using the self service pump and opted to use cash. I was putting €15 worth of diesel into my tank. I put a €10 euro not into the machine which it accepted. However upon putting a €5 note in, the machine swallowed it but only allowed me to put €10 diesel into my tank!! I could not retrieve my lost €5 after this. I know this is a small amount to lose, however on principle alone I would never return to this place again. I sense a scam in one form or another!
