To whom it concerns I contacted Galway Cars (GC) Sun 7th Sept addressing " Hi Alan ..... with a view to purchase a 21 Porsche & Trade In Value (TIV) my 181 CLS 400D 4 Matic 135,000 Kms --- showroom condition with dates-- a comprehensive set of photos/videos of it after a FULL VALET with CLS full REG NO visible re ALL possible checks by any potential dealer. It had already received a clean INSPECTION at 3 previous PORSCHE Dealers [car inspected on site]with TIV €31 - €34K NEGOTIATION figures given. The time, correspondence via phone calls/text professionalism and Courtesy given to me was just EXCELLENT all round- CLS was INSPECTED @ each dealer. Fact is I was seeking a particular Porsche --SPECIFICATIONS including HEAD UP DISPLAY etc., and ironically the P @ GC had such spec. Of note I sent more info re my CLS including PROOFS of dates kms etc to GC in comparison to what I received from GC. Factually this is exactly what I received via WhatsApp from GC. 1st text ---NEW STOCK UPDATES ! Please ceck our web on..... Immediately followed by 2nd text ...☘Thanks for contacting galwaycars In a moment, we will connect you to a representative. For better service, please provide the following: Name and vehicle you Intresting to buy... 3rd Our guy will contact you tomorrow (OGWCYT) ALL 3 received Sunday. 4th Monday simply read --Trade Value 25000eur (OGWCYT!!!) On Monday afternoon I rang GC @ 091.... I politely introduced myself with my P/CLS query--I asked to speak to Alan. I was greeted by a most abrupt male who astonishingly stated " oh yes you got your Trade Value, I cant remember it was around 23 or 24 why are you ringing" I replied " so now you're saying my TIV is even lower again, you sent me text saying 25000 eur" Suffice to say when I further asked Alan was he in charge of the Porsche sale, he said he was. I then asked him to explain/establish how he came to value my CLS @ such a low value. It was my observation that this GC Representative was extremely rude, most arrogant and derogatory towards me from the outset wherein again he stated your CLS based on our figures is only worth €22,200, we then we add €5000 for the customer....( the maths didn't add up-- €27,200-00) I then further asked him to clarify the TIV of my CLS and he concluded the MAX for your car is €25,000 ...that's it, its up to you...I then politely thanked him --he abruptly hung up In summary I explained that it was a very poor line [With due respect to all in truth he spoke very fast and it was rather difficult to comprehend/grasp what he was actually saying and I had to ask him to kindly say "sorry can you say that again " throughout our conversation ] Regretfully he showed absolutely no interest in interpersonal engagement or people skills, courtesy and with absent motivation. Again with No disrespect to any citizen or/and any nationality on this Island of ours -- Alan was clearly not IRISH and he spoke with an EAST European accent I refer to aforementioned GC Whatsapp texts --- ceck instead of check--intresting instead of interesting etc Interestingly it states on GC website [Please note further English grammatical context/content wording] A family-run Used Car Dealer with over 25years experience. We offer our customers great choice and value along with the highest level of customer service as standard ☘IMPRESS YOUR NEIGHBOURS! Please Ask For More Details.... We Have Customers Travel From All Over the IRELAND To View Our Vehicles Without Disappointment & This One Is No Exception.... ZERO DEPOSIT FINANSEAVAILABLE I have visited many car dealers over the years [purchased various cars] and without a doubt based on the above detailed most discourteous most UNPROFESSIONAL experience-- GC is NOT one that I will be dealing with/or RECOMMENDING to any one in any capacity. The aforementioned review is exactly that [my own personal experience} Thanking You Eugene

I bought a Land Rover Defender from Galway Cars in June 2025 for €73,000. Within 2 weeks it broke down. The car has now been off the road for well over 2 months, and despite repeated repair attempts, it is still not working. Galway Cars have refused to provide a refund or replacement and have stopped responding to me. The after-sales service has been appalling. Beware of Galway Cars – avoid at all costs. Editing to respond to the 'response' my car HAS NOT been returned, that is a complete lie. Galway cars have failed on their responsibilities under consumer law.

Alan was great to deal with, kept me in the loop as to what was happening all along the way. Casper was there for the hand over went through everything. Had a very enjoyable drive home smiling the whole way

I had a fantastic experience buying an Audi Q7. The process was quick and easy, and Alan made everything seamless. He was incredibly informative and helpful throughout, answering all our questions with ease. The car itself is exceptional, with a top-tier specification and in excellent condition. Highly recommend!
