Id like to say that everything was great however after I took delivery of my Audi Q3 I found the horn didn't work or any of the functions on the steering wheel. Not sure how they managed to test it without the horn working a bit strange as the car had only just been tested . Contacted Eddie he said he would fix it one way or another but he didn't come back to me. Anyway it was the sqib inside the steering wheel that was broken . I got it fixed at a cost of around 700 euro . Tried to get some response from Eddie but nothing . Be careful of his promises Would I buy another car from him not a chance
The only measure of a good car dealership/garage is reliability. Unfortunately they sold us a complete mess of a car. Appeared absolutely fine at first but the problems came thick and fast which has now cost hundreds upon hundreds and is still not sorted. I know cars can break down but we've been told by a few mechanics now that the garage must have known about the electrical issues as they occur every few days. I would entirely avoid this place being honest. Hoping this experience at least deters others and they'll avoid having similar significant issues.
Contacted this clown recently to view a car he was selling, after initial call I get a call back two hours later looking for a deposit over the phone as apparently another buyer also wanted to buy the same vehicle off him there and then, after i refused to give him deposit he tells me call down regardless as he has already put my name on it so I will be taking it regardless as it was 100%. Foolishly I still proceeded to call down at agreed time and upon entering he's premises there was no sign of vehicle or Eddie for that matter. Instead I was greeted by one of he's employees with very poor english and was shown the vehicle was nextdoor in a garage up on a lift with the wheels taken off it. After seeing this Circus in action I quickly left. A lesson for everyone here ladies and gentlemen these independent car dealers are buying the trade ins from dealerships that they deem as not worth repairing and sell them to the likes of Eddie Gary who will in turn do as little as possible to make them look half presentable and in some cases come with a new NCT somehow (check previous comment regarding Audi Q3, new test but horn not working, for all we know airbag went off due to collision damaging the clockspring in the process, very costly repair which new owner had to cover of €700) but it is the rest of us that end up paying through the roof to get these vehicles road worthy when things go wrong as these guys dont care.
I bought peugeot 207, Im happy from the car, it needed some repair after the 3 months warrenty, Mr. Eddie just repaired it. And its great, im happy from the car and the service. personally, MrsEddie is a humble kind and helpful one.
I bought a Nissan qashqai from Eddie, he delivered it to my address as I was unable to get to the garage on the morning. I found Eddie extremely pleasant and professional to deal with. I was very happy with everything from start to finish, having just relocated to the area, Eddie made everything very easy for me and I love my car. I would definitely recommend Eddie Garry Cars 👌 The car was delivered absolutely spotless also.
