I purchased a beautiful Xc90 from this crowd in June 2024, the only reason I went off main dealer was due to them having no stock at the time that I was keen to buy. At first everything went very smoothly and I saw little difference between this transaction and one from my normal dealer ,J& P Volvo. However within a short time it was apparent something was wrong with the car . I had never owned a hybrid model, and so I could not put my finger on what exactly was wrong, but I continued to report issues to the dealership and was directed to Mapfire a warranty co. they use. However , this was a warranty that covered absolutely nothing and after months of going back and forth , I took the car at my own expense to the main dealer. At this diagnostic appointment I was horrified to find out I had been sold this car broken. The ERAD was in failure, which affects the transmission. This was confirmed as broken when I bought it ( at this appointment) , and explained why the hybrid aspect of the car simply did not work. this was a 10,000 euro repair. Unfortunately this was just then tip of the iceberg. the worst part of the matter, came next. Denis avoided me, refused to return phone calls , and directed me off to anyone but himself to deal with the matter. I played ball and contacted my bank, Volvo themselves, and the main dealer in an effort to have someone cover this repair. Which in fact is pretty crummy on Denis's part. He was taking ZERO responsibility for this matter, and in fact told me not to contact him anymore. because I dared to be angry at his lack of response. I was forced to get SIMI involved, which was also awful. They are a body to deal with car sales disputes, but I was spoken to and treated like I was ganging up on one of their friends. So that was fun! I had to fight everyone just to have my consumer rights honored. In the end SIMI found in my favor, and had to FORCE Denis Cullinane to fix this car. All in all this experience took A year tp resolve. The car sat in my driveway for 4 months while I waited for the process. It took a serious toll on me, and I will never forgive Denis for his repugnant actions. The dealership actions as a whole demonstrates the lack of integrity and Customer care they abide by. Denis was very Happy to take 68,000 euros off me, but did not want to know me when it was clear they had sold me a faulty car. Perhaps buying a banger here is acceptable, but this man has no business selling premium cars for which he has no knowledge of. Oh and btw Denis himself told m he will never buy a Volvo for resale again, he said that on the same call where he offered to pay 50% of the repairs for a car HE SOLD ME IN THAT CONDITION. The shear cheek ! After this experience I just about swore off Volvo tbh. J & P Mahon have single handedly revived my interest in the brand, with the professional care and attention they gave to the situation. This has taught me NEVER buy from a tinker dealer like this, there will be no aftercare, no attention to detail. Nothing. This is what we call at home Grey market, my advice to any potential customer is to run , not walk in the opposite direction Save yourself the immense stress, time and money, and please find a dealer who stands by their vehicles and their word. Picture attached of day I bought and the poor car sitting in my drive for 4 months , I lost almost 30,000 euro on the car in this time. the entire matter was devastating.
I recently purchased a VW ID3 (my first fully electric car) from Denis and Jason and was very happy with all aspects of the purchase. From seeing the car online and being sent extra videos and photos via WhatsApp before actually going to test drive the car to getting the technical reports and battery information, there was nothing I asked for that wasn't immediately forthcoming. The car was prepared well and all of the payment and paperwork went through seamlessly. I was initially a little nervous about buying from an independent dealer, but, after this experience, would have no hesitation buying form Denis and Jason again. Ray

Bought my BMW I4 from Denis and have to say the service was top Class. Jason was excellent to deal with and nothing was a problem. Cars are very fairly priced. I would have no hesitation about buying of them again
