I purchased my Ford Ranger from this dealership a couple of years ago. I have to say that the experience up to the point of sale was excellent - communication was great, the vehicle presentation was professional, and collecting the keys felt like a premium experience. Since then, my experience with their after-sales especially service and workshop has been extremely disappointing. I trusted the dealership to carry out safety-critical repairs correctly. I was invoiced for suspension and ball joint replacement work, also they passed the van CVRT only to later discover during most recent CVRT test that a steering/suspension component appears to have been welded instead of properly replaced. This resulted in the vehicle failing the test on a major safety defect. Being charged for what should have been a proper repair, only to face potential safety concerns later, has been very frustrating. As a customer, you expect a main dealer to carry out work to the highest manufacturer and safety standards. The contrast between the excellent pre-sale experience and the very poor after-sales support has been stark. I am now dealing with the inconvenience, additional costs and stress of having to rectify work that should have been done correctly in the first place. I hope the dealership will take this matter seriously and improve the quality and transparency of their service going forward.

I’m very disappointed with my experience with Eddie at Calton Motors Tullamore after purchasing a used car from them. Before buying, I was told the car would be fully serviced. Unfortunately, this clearly was not the case. When I checked the car myself shortly after purchase, the engine oil was in very poor condition and obviously hadn’t been changed. Even worse, the pollen/cabin filter was nearly black and full of dirt and debris — something that should absolutely be replaced during a basic service. Buying a car is a big investment, and customers rely on dealerships to be honest and carry out the work they say they will. Sadly, this experience has left me with little confidence in their after-sales service. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve their service going forward.
