I recently purchased a car from Colm Quinn BMW and had the pleasure of dealing with Aoife. She was absolutely amazing at her job. Extremely professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping us throughout the entire process. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. The reception staff were so helpful, mannerly and courteous on any interactions we had with them. We would also like to mention Lisa, who took the time to go through all of the financial details with us clearly and patiently. She made everything easy to understand and ensured we were comfortable with every step. Thanks as well to Daniel, who kindly took the car up to Donegal for us the next day. I recently had my EGR cooler replaced at BMW Colm Quinn after receiving a recall letter from BMW. I booked the appointment one month in advance and was told the job would take approximately six hours. Unfortunately, what should have been a same-day service turned into four days without my car due to parts not being available. Communication was very poor — I only received updates after calling myself, and I left work early multiple times unnecessarily. I was not offered a replacement vehicle despite the delays and inconvenience. On the final day, I was told the car would be ready at 5:30pm. As I rely on public transport from Dublin, I rushed to get there before closing. When I was delayed slightly, I was told they would not wait even a few extra minutes. I arrived at 6:15pm and thankfully another staff member kindly gave me the keys. Additionally, I had asked for my second key to be checked as it was not working, but it was returned to me in the same condition with no explanation. Very disappointed with the level of communication and customer care, especially from an authorised BMW dealership. I expected a much higher standard of service.
A warm thank you to Colm Quinn BMW, and especially to Amy and the team, for the excellent care when my car was in with them recently. I appreciated having a courtesy car dropped to my home when it proved a more protracted job. Collecting my own car afterwards the little sweetie was such a thoughtful touch!
Rob McGrath at Colm Quinn was exceptional to deal with. I've never received the same level of care in Dublin since my first purchase in 1995. Regrettably, 11 months after purchasing my X5 M50d from Colm Quinn Athlone I have been stunned by how little care and attention I’ve received. Unreplied to messages and phone calls for 6 weeks and eventually a request to do a 6 hour round trip from Dublin to assess the fault rather than order in part and repair while there. Then a second trip to fit the replacement part if required. I was also told that the fault would most likely not be covered under warranty and to say that when I brought the car in and to see what could be done for me. Visited a BMW dealer in Dublin today. Showed them the pic of the fault on my phone and from his desk the service advisor ordered a new part under warranty without even going to see the car in the carpark! The drama over nothing from Colm Quinn BMW has caused me severe stress. I’m absolutely stunned at their nonchalance towards their customers and will never visit their dealership again.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Cars are extremely over priced compared to anywhere else. Had a few car issues over the years and wouldn't recommend them unless youre stuck
