Great experience with BYD North. Collected my BYD Seal U DM-I with Niall in sales. Who as always can cover off any topic we had about the car and gave us great confidence in our purchase. Niall kept me regularly updated on my collection date of my new car which is very good to see. BYD is a very fast growing brand in Ireland which offers exceptional value. So far I could not recommend them any higher based on my experience so far.

Don't buy a BYD Atto 3!! I bought my BYD Atto 3 as my first ev in January 2024. The initial experience was excellent. I enjoyed the test drive with Bernard (The Manager) and Evan as the senior sales executive. Both great guys and very friendly and professional. The showroom is so modern and full of very impressive BYD models to choose from. Small issue is I ordered a white car but got a cream/silver car. Not a big deal with the company I painter with use predominantly WHITE cars that's what you expect when you order a WHITE car. The major issue is that when you do buy a brand new hi-tech car, you do expect it to come with safety features that do work and that you can rely on I realised from day 1 that the Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) wasn't accurate and was very small. 2 years on and numerous software updates it's still not reliable at all. I told Bernard and particularly Evan about it and all they could say or tell me is that there will be a software update coming. So the issue is which BYD and not the dealership. I dont have a problem with Bernard or Evan. Evan in particular has been excellent since I collected the car. If I had any issues or questions he answered them straight away. I had some major problems with charging at 1 point too. The issue now is that the TRS doesn't work to the standard I expected from a €48.5k brand newly launched car. Now neither of them answered my calls and have sent plenty of tests and videos on WhatsApp highlighting the problem. The last time I was at the showroom was July 2025. I had to drive to the dealership for the next big update that wasn't available over the air. It took 40mins and still didnt really work properly but was an improvement. It is still not at the standard you'd get on a Hyundai, Toyota, Kia or VW. I'm stuck with a car that doesn't work to my satisfaction and they have done absolutely nothing to help me. I sent a registered letter of complaint to them both a fee weeks ago and got nothing, no phone call or no reply, Nothing! I think BYD Atto 3 models need to be recalled to fix the issue. Im refusing to wait and had no success so have gone to my bank who I pay €750 per month so they can deal with them. also got my car serviced (5th service) at MSL North Circular Road. I was told that BYD announced that from now on I only had to service my car every 30,000km/s from now on. I called the garage to ask is there a possibility of a rebate given the fact that I had now serviced the car every 20,000km/s. At least 1 service too many so expected some sort of rebate. They told me to contact the dealership but have heard nothing since. So I'm disgusted with the customer services, especially from Bernard, and I demand an explanation from BYD as well as a rebate. The car isn't that great either and quite slow to charge and wouldn't recommend anyone to by a BYD Atto 3. Take your business elsewhere and buy a Kia instead lile I should have done. BYD offer the worst trade in value as well and I got the worst customer services too!

Fantastic experience with the BYD sales team! Jordan and Bernard were absolutely outstanding and couldn’t have been more helpful. This is my fifth BYD purchased from them in just two years, which really speaks volumes about their service. Brilliant cars, exceptional customer care, and an absolute pleasure to deal with every time. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I went to BYD North Dublin to evaluate the cars, and in the first few seconds after arriving, I was greeted by Niall. He is amazing. I must admit that the treatment we received was excellent, and he was always incredibly patient, answering every question we had with a genuine smile and dealing with all details that appeared with patience and care. I would highly recommend BYD, the cars are great. If you are considering a new car or just want to check them out, go and talk with Niall, you won't regret.
