Had booked my DS in for a mandatory recall. Darragh looked after everything for us. Travelled up from Galway. The car was also due a service which Darragh kindly fitted in for us on the day. He went out of his way to pick my car up from Wicklow for its service and dropped it back to my front door on Saturday, his day off. I couldn't be more grateful to him. A totally bizarre experience. After booking in my Peugeot boxer (and confirming make and model) for it's annual service, I delivered it to the garage as agreed. Later that day I received a phone call to say there was an issue and they would need to keep it overnight. I then phoned the next day to ensure all ok as I needed it the following day. I was then told they couldn't lift the vehicle and actually couldn't service commercial vehicles. This was despite them servicing it last year, and taking the booking, and taking the keys from me upon checking it in the previous day. A total and utter waste of time. It then transpires the van was totally blocked by other vehicles and couldn't be driven. In fairness, the person at the desk was helpful in getting that sorted but cannot fathom how they could have taken a vehicle in for a service they were unable to actually do. Update - since posting the service manager Dara was in touch to explain that they have difficulty servicing the vehicle and apologising for the inconvenience.
