Collected my new Dacia Duster Hybrid today. Such a great experience dealing with the staff at Blackstone. Last November met with Ivan who helped us choosing our car. Answered all our queries in a very positive and professional manner. He is very friendly and stayed in contact with us from November till today when we picked the car up. I brought my vehicle in for service. While waiting, I checked my GPS tracker and noticed my car was parked at a grocery store for over 15 minutes, nowhere near the dealership. I called the service department to ask if the car was ready. I was told they were ‘still working on it.’ When I pointed out that I could see the car was actually parked at a grocery store, the representative put me on hold. A second person then got on the phone and changed the story, claiming they had asked the mechanic to take the car for a ‘test spin’ to ensure everything was okay. However, the GPS data showed the car was stationary at a grocery store for an extended period not being test-driven on the road. It became clear that the mechanic was using my vehicle for personal errands. The dealership initially lied to me about the status of my vehicle, and when confronted, they changed their excuse to cover for the employee. This is completely unacceptable. Customers trust service centers with their vehicles, and this breach of trust plus the dishonesty when I first called means I cannot recommend this establishment. I expect my car to be serviced professionally, not used as someone's personal vehicle.
