Positive experience overall. I bought a car from Auto Express in Limerick and initially experienced an intermittent issue with the check engine light and occasional loss of power. After bringing it back and discussing the situation with the team, they were helpful in working with me to resolve the issue. Instead of continuing repeated repairs, they ultimately assisted me in finding a better replacement vehicle that suited my needs. The process took some time, but they did follow through and made sure I left with a car I was happy with. I appreciate the support in getting everything sorted in the end.

Bought a 152 polo for €8995 with 240,000km, knew nothing about cars and bought it as I was a first time driver When I got the car off the dealership, it had drenched seats and had to drive home with it wet. The next day I notice there was a problem with one of the doors and it wouldn’t lock with the key, I asked them to fix this the air conditioning and a bushing or bearing which I noticed was gone. They only fixed the door after a day of owning. I also had problems with the clutch which I texted them about and they ignored me when it was still under warranty. I then also put it through the nct after just 7 months of owning the car and the brake pads were gone the handbrake was gone and there was a leak in the exhaust. I got these problems repaired which resulted in 3/4 of the exhaust needing to be replaced. After a month of having no car while being replaced I finally got it back. A day later an engine light came on and more issues happened. On later inspection I noticed the car was never serviced and it claimed to be when I bought it, and also said on their site. I contacted them throughout my problem’s and they always wiped their hands clean. When I asked could I just return the car they said they could only offer me €5000 trace in price as the km were too high, when I only have driving around 5000km in the car since owning.
