As a first time buyer I had no idea what I was even looking for. Came across ascot motors on done deal and couldn’t have been more blessed. I ended up going with a toyota Vitz which they totally did up. New 9” screen new tires full service. Every single worker went out of their way to help me. Haven’t wiped the smile off my face can’t believe I own a car!!

At the moment of paying the deposit for the car, it turned out that there was no valid NCT. I was assured that I could pass it in the shortest possible time in my own county, so I agreed. However, later that same evening I discovered that all available appointments were fully booked for a month ahead. I then requested a refund of my deposit, as I urgently needed the car and had no intention of driving illegally. They argued that I should look for a cancelled NCT slot, but I refused, as I was not willing to deal with that. In the end, the deposit was refunded, but the staff were extremely rude and aggressive. This suggests that the car dealership is either unqualified or too lazy to prepare vehicles in a proper sale-ready condition. Not recommended.

I bought a car here earlier this year. Immaculate condition, fairly priced. Lee and the lads replaced the tyres (I needed the E mark for the NCT test) and when they couldn't locate the 2nd key misplaced during an office move, they fully compensated me when I had a new one programmed and made. Very impressed! The team here are genuine, helpful and trustworthy. Thanks again Lee, Andy and co.

Warning to anyone considering buying from Ascot Motor Company: the white Suzuki swift I purchased from them in November, which suffered a gearbox failure and was confirmed as unable to be repaired, is still being advertised for sale on their website. The reg of the car is 132-D-27216. After the engine broke while being driven to Cork, I returned it and was told it would be fixed and that I’d receive a replacement car in the meantime. I was later informed it couldn’t be repaired and it was never returned to me, leaving me with a car I did not initially want. Very disappointing and unprofessional handling of the situation. I would not want someone to buy the car that is STILL on sale only to be left with the same disappointment I was left with.

Bought a car from Ascot Motor Company recently. I can honestly say the experience was delightful. Andy was so helpful answering any question I needed to know regarding the purchase of the car.I have dealt with many car dealerships over the years and Ascot stands out to be the best. What Andy doesn't know about car sales is not worth knowing. Thanks Again Andy and keep up the good work.
