Hi, I have a 2017 January Skoda Octavia 2.0 L diesel vRS with 215,000 miles. I'm getting differing answers about when to change the timing belt, and also was told the water pump needs changing with it. the waterpump i expected that, but have since been told that a couple of years ago the waterpump was upgraded and doesnt need to be done with the belt? My gut instinct is do the two together, at this mileage? What is the correct way to go? Thanks.

Hi Adrian, Wold you know of timing belt change frequency for a 172 Skoda Superb 2.0l diesel, 150bhp? I don't see it in the owner's manual...where I would expect to. Kind Regards, Keith
