Excellent service from start to finish. Purchased a 5 year old car that looks and drives like new and it was at a reasonable price compared to the same I looked at in other dealers. Drove down from Ennis to test drive the car on a Saturday afternoon and everything was sorted and the car was delivered free of charge to a dealership in limerick early Monday afternoon where I could easily collect it. Also the 12 months warranty is a bonus and if I did have any issues i can get it sorted in the limerick garage rather than having it taken all the way back to cork. I was dealing with Aaron and he was a pleasure to deal with and sorted everything efficiently.
I went to Zucar for an oil service on 26/07/2025, and honestly, it was the best customer service experience I’ve ever had! Eduardo and Maia were so proactive, friendly, and welcoming – something you don’t always see here. After the service, I didn’t fully understand the oil change, and they called the mechanic Callum, who explained everything in detail, which I really appreciated. Huge thanks for the excellent service! I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Zucar to anyone.
I was looking to sell my car quickly. I opted in to sell it to a dealership, as I did not want to hassle with private selling. I asked for online quotes at like 6-7 different sites, you know, all those claiming fast response and quick buy. Out of those, all came back after 2-3 days, some even straight did not want, despite being a generic model in a good condition. Those who came back, gave very low offers. After that, sent request to Zucar, despite being in Cork and myself in Limerick. They came back to me within few hours with a fair price. I drove down, they inspected the car, and they confirmed that they will give me the price they gave me online. I was done with the whole thing within like 45 minutes. So, well done Zucar Cork, thank you.
I was looking at a Corolla 2022 from ZuCar Cork, the saleman called me on the phone and hadn't a clue on the service condition of the car. all he wanted to know was if I'm financing or cash. and he said there's no room for negotiation. just because of the rudeness of the salesman, I decided to shop elsewhere.
I am really disappointed with my experience. I enquired about a car listed and came in asap, test drove it Friday (yesterday), came back same day and test drove with my husband and kids, offered to pay a deposit there and then to hold the car (they said there was no need once I come back in first thing the following morning), agreed trade in value for my own car, went home and secured finance with my bank and drew down the car loan and rang the garage before they closed to confirm I had finance secured and would be in first thing the following morning - came back in the following morning (Saturday/today) to sign on the dotted line - only for them to ring me when I was half ways there to say a woman had put a hold on the car and they wouldn’t be able to sell it to me until after 12 when the hold expired- I waited around for 2 hours only for them to inform me they were still waiting on her to show up for a test drive but that she was likely going to buy it and as she had reserved it there was nothing they could do. I now have to cancel my bank loan and have wasted 3x1.5hr round trips to the dealership - not to mind waiting around for half of my Saturday for Zu Car to sell to somebody else. The explanation given was the woman who bought it hadn’t test drove it but “was travelling all the way from Tralee and hounded everyone in the dealership with phone calls being rude to make sure they reserve it until she could get there” I guess that’s what I get for being nice - maybe I should have wrecked everyone’s heads and played bully boy tactics and I would have been rewarded for it. - although then I would have had staff gossiping about me to potential customers too - I hope whoever bought this car sees this and realises the staff in Zu Car had only awful things to say about you to me which is not very professional conduct and has put me right off recommending or purchasing from here in the future.
