Bought a used car from Windsor Galway. I was assured the car went through a multi point inspection and I put my trust in them, being a large main dealer. The day I collected the car they had put two new tyres in the boot of the car & said they hadn't time to fit them. This should have been a warning for me. The following week the engine check light came on. I booked the car in with a local mechanic to fit the tyres and check over the car. This is where the fun begins. As well as not being able to remove the wheels to fit the tyres (because wheel nut adaptor did not fit the nuts on the car), the front tyres on the car were dangerously close to blowing out due to excessive wear on the inside. The tracking on the car was not right. Mechanic also found multiple engine faults (approx 10 different diagnostic faults showed up). Engine idle speed was erratic and auto gearbox showed problems. I had MAJOR difficulty contacting Windsor regarding these issues and eventually when I did speak to someone they passed me on to someone else. After 4 months of stress and hassle, including going to different garages for repairs on the advice of Windsor motors, I returned the car and got a refund. They sold me an unchecked, mechanically faulty car with a dangerously worn set of tyres. I would advise anyone to stay clear.

Today we collected our new Renault Megane etech from Windsor Motors Galway. Our experience was top class from the beginning, when we made the deal, to today when we collected our new car. Ross kept contact with us throughout the process and advised us on the progress of our new car. He even made a follow-up call to check we had a happy drive home. Thank you Ross and all the staff we met there for your courtesy and attention.
