I rang Windsor this morning and spoke with Jack. I explained that I was trying to find out if it is possible to use HVO fuel in an Opel Combo Komfort van as I am interested in buying one. In trying to explain why I was asking he said, a little sarcastically, I thought, ‘’because you want to use HVO’. I explained that, yes, that was why, but also that because I am being given different answers by people I thought to ring head office. Jack explained they were not head office, which was my error, and he gave me their number, which was helpful. He checked and added that their chief engineer said it was never to be used, that only diesel should be used, and they could not stand over it if HVO was used. Again, this was helpful. However, I then rang Opel head office who said that once it has XTL written inside the petrol cap then it is safe to use HVO in an Opel Combo Komfort van.

I purchased an Opel Mokka from George in Opel Liffey Valley. Thrilled with new car. George was brilliant to deal with, happy to answer all my questions and sent me on a video of the vehicle. I was coming from Galway to purchase so George put a full tank of petrol into the car for me without having to be asked. Excellent customer service.
