I have just purchased a car from Western Motors , Galway , I was dealing with Gabriel , Carla and Tom , I have to say the service was excellent from start to finish, was so impressed . Gabriel was very efficient and professional . Nothing was a problem . Tom even drove over to Co.louth on his birthday to deliver it . Would 100% recommend these guys. I can't compliment them enough, Thank you for your excellent service .

As a customer of Western Motors for around 9 years It's hard to find words to describe my recent trip to Western Motors. I was in there to have a service carried out and a few issues with my car corrected. Upon arrival the only words I can use are Chaotic and Incompotence. I don't mind joining a queue and waiting my turn which I did but the chaos behind the scenes looks comical, paperwork flying, tempers flaring and doors banging with anger. I then had the misfortune of dealing with the service advisor. I explained the couple of issues I had along with my service, I got the feeling he was not listening to my issues and he continued to crack jokes and laugh histerically at his own jokes. I again tried to explain my issues as he continued to laugh loudly. For a minute I thought I was on a hidden camera show whilst dealing with him. I was unsure if he was laughing at me or what was going on. I left my car and hoped for the best. I came back a couple of hours later to see one service advisor absolutely berating another employee, I wondered should I wait outside until they finished as it felt awkward. I was told what was done with my car and asked about the issues, one had been fixed and nothing done about the other complaint I had. When I asked it was just brushed off. Bearing in mind the car is under warranty I found this annoying as this was not my first time in with said issues. I left probably feeling confused, annoyed and fobbed off. I spoke with another employee in the carpark and it turned out he had been my technician, it also turned out he was never told about one of my complaints which he knew straight away what would fix it and sat into the car and fixed on the spot through some settings on the screen.He was apologetic and friendly and you could see it was not his fault. It's hard to recommend the amatuer service received from what one can only describe as a drab, chaotic, hostile aftersales service area. One can understand why there seems to be a high turnover of staff in the aftersales department as over the years I only recognise one or two faces and there is constantly new faces. The only positive was a decent wash of my car and what seemed a good service by the technician. Overall, I think I will be trying a different garage next time.
