Back in May, I visited Tesla with the intention of purchasing a new vehicle. I was assured by a sales manager named Lloyd that if I placed a €250 deposit immediately, I would be guaranteed a car by July. Based on that promise, I went ahead and sold my current car. However, when I followed up with Tesla, I was suddenly told that my car wouldn't arrive until late September or even October, apparently due to my choice of color. This directly contradicted the original guarantee I was given. Things only got worse from there. I was bombarded with cold calls pressuring me to pay an additional €1,200 to switch to a different color if I wanted a car sooner. This felt like a bait-and-switch tactic. When I explained that I was now left without a car and without options, I contacted Clare in the sales team and informed her that I was considering canceling due to Tesla's failure to deliver. She said I’d need to email written consent to cancel—but before I ever sent that, Tesla went ahead and canceled my order without permission. To make matters worse, communication has been appalling. After asking to escalate the issue, Clare abruptly ended our call by pretending the line was bad. I sent a follow-up email and was told a supervisor would get back to me. No one ever has. At this point, I am left with no vehicle, €250 out of pocket, and no accountability from Tesla. Every time I try to follow up, I’m bounced around. No one takes ownership. This is, without question, the worst customer experience I’ve ever had buying a car. I was misled, abandoned, and now financially at a loss. If you're considering buying from Tesla, think twice. The sales promises are unreliable, the service is disjointed, and if something goes wrong, you're left to fend for yourself.

This review is about the service center as I bought my tesla from Dublin. I had Kevin as my technician to resolve an issue that made my tesla Undrivable, and I genuinely can’t recommend him enough. He went above and beyond, not only addressing the current issues but also proactively checking previous concerns and explaining everything clearly in simple terms. He exceeded his usual duties by also arranging a transfer back of the car, which was a huge help as I don’t yet have a full driving licence. A special shoutout as well to the agent who drove the car back to Waterford, he was extremely professional and kept me informed, delivering the car in a short time. I’m genuinely delighted with the level of service I received. It's employees like them make Tesla stand out as the best service center nationwide.

We just bought a new Tesla model Y. I have to say I was expecting flashy (stereotypical I know) salespeople who were all about the hard sell. But that is the opposite of the service we received. Everyone was so helpful and professional and even made time to show all the “child friendly” features to my 2 daughters. A special thank you to Lloyd the manger for making the whole experience pleasant and as stress free as possible.

They have a long waiting time for service but I was aware of this. i dropped my car off and was offered a lift home by a member of the sales staff as I live in Carrigtwohill which was a nice gesture. I had a vibration which I suspected to be Michelin tyres as I previously had issues with one of them. They isolated fault and replaced two tyres under warranty plus others balanced etc and the cost ZERO. Since 18 months owning car my service expense amounts to cost of windscreen washer fluid. I found staff to be friendly and engaging.

Evan and Lloyd are a credit to the Tesla sales team. From our first visit where it was only an interest to our second where we were nearly ready to make a purchase, their professionalism, warmth and knowledge about the cars was very reassuring. Tesla may not do price negotiations and trade-ins are quite under priced (as with any main dealer) but the quality of service, cleanliness of the facility and sales staff scream high quality service in all aspects. From a sales point of view, this was far superior than J&P (MG,Cupra), Hyundai, BYD, VW who we also visited about EVs recently. The gentlemen at the store got this sale secured and over the line. Top class experience.
