Very negative experience connected to this garage. I bought my first car privately for €2,000. The car had recently come from O’Brien’s Motors, so before finalising the deal I went to the previous owner listed on the logbook. She told me she had owned the car from new and had it serviced regularly at this garage. When she traded it in, she was given no value for it. The car was then being sold on privately by another individual. Based on how everything unfolded, it appeared to me that there was a connection between this seller and the garage. When I visited O’Brien’s Motors directly to ask about the car’s history and clarify ownership/logbook issues, the staff were extremely dismissive and unhelpful. They avoided basic questions and seemed very uncomfortable engaging with me at all. Shortly after I spoke to them, the private seller was already aware I had been asking questions, which raised further concerns for me about how closely connected everything was. Two days after purchase, the engine developed a serious issue (cylinder misfire), and the car is now off the road awaiting inspection. I understand private sales come with risk, but the lack of transparency, the way this car appears to have been handled, and the attitude I received when asking reasonable questions would make me strongly advise others to be very cautious when dealing with anything linked to this garage.

would give zero stars if that were an option. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a business. The staff were extremely rude and dismissive throughout. More seriously, my brother was sold a car that had clear faults which were not properly disclosed. From what we understand, the vehicle had previously been taken as a trade-in, with the previous owner reportedly not receiving proper value for it. It was then passed on and resold despite known issues. When we raised concerns, everything was denied and no effort was made to address the situation. The whole experience felt very dishonest and unprofessional. I would strongly advise others to avoid dealing with this business. It’s not worth the risk.

⭐ 1-star Review I bought a Ford Transit from this garage and after just 3 months, serious problems started showing up. I paid €25,000 for a vehicle that turned out to be nothing but trouble. I strongly advise others not to buy from this garage — you will regret it for the rest of your life. Extremely disappointed.

Bought a 2021 Seat Ateca 2.0 in March 2023. Robert was a pleasure to deal with and kept in touch during the whole process. I had a minor problem 9 months after buying the car and Robert put me in the right direction to get the problem fixed. Highly recommend O’Brien Motors and I will be back when time comes to upgrade.

Purchased my car from here, found their price and trade in value reasonable, dealt with Robert and liked his straight forward approach and no sales pressure. Also found his vehicles clean and well presented. Thanks Robert and I hope to deal with you in the future.
