I agreed on a price for a new car and we both shook hands on the deal, I then paid a deposit and was told it would take about 2 weeks to get the paperwork in place, after a few days, I was asked to come back in to discuss the sale, when I arrived back in, I was told that I had to pay an extra €4000 to cover extra taxes on the Garage part of the sale, which in my mind had nothing to do with me, as I had already agreed on a price and shook hands on this deal, I refused to pay this extra money and was given my money back. I would not go back to this Garage as they failed to honour our agreement.
