Great experience getting my car serviced for the 1st time with Kevin O'Leary. Dropped the car off and within a few hours got a phone call to say it's ready to collect. Absolutely no messing about and the price was reasonable too. Would recommend.
Just bought a new Suzuki Swift at Kevin O'Leary (Silversprings). Dealt with Roy O'Neill. A gentleman, totally professional, very helpful and made the whole purchasing experience very pleasant. I highly recommend that garage.
The lads are absolutely brilliant, no messing about. We had a customer in cork with an issue, they got him straight in and all sorted. Jason is an absolute gentleman and couldn’t ask for better service Many Thanks lads, from one garage to another
In September 2022 my partner decided that it was time that she got her own car and she found it at Kevin O'Learys Silversprings. She purchased a new Suziki Swift and she hasn't looked back! Staff: We went in together and we had a brilliant experience dealing with the people at Kevin O'Learys. All of the staff a very friendly from Sales to Servicing to the front desk. Its a credit to all of their staff members! Kenneth Hussey: We called into Kevin O'Learys on a Saturday and we were put in contact with a man by the name of Kenneth Hussey. From begining to end Kenneth was brilliant, he was very accomodating and gave my partner and I a tour of the show room and what they had available for our price range. Upon review of what my partner was looking for Kenneth suggested that we take a look at their Suzuki Swift model. She was looking to buy a new model as it made the most financial sense at the time. However, the showroom model was being kept inside with as low milage as possible before purchase. So Kenneth got a second hand Swift model that they had out for us so that my partner could take it for a test drive. Once she took that car for a test drive she knew that the Suzuki Swift was the car for her. As with all purchases we had few choice questions for Kenneth before we went any further. Kenneth was well able to answer all of our questions regarding the financing, maintenance and servicing, as well as any queries that we had in the event that we were to sell the car sooner than when the financing would be complete. Kenneth made sure that we were fully informed and when we took the weekend to mull the decision over. Everything added up for us financially and we called back on the Monday and she placed a deposite on the car! Post Deposit Experience: Kenneth was really easy to keep in contact with and answered any queries that she thought of after visiting on the Saturday. Once she made the deposit he kept her updated regarding the process of registering a new car and all of the documentation with regestering a new car on Irish roads. Purchasing: Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the man that we dealth with regarding the purchasing. However, I do remeber that he was also a pleasure to deal with and she was able to do all the paper work with him at the dealership on the Monday that she paid the deposit and collected the car the following Wednesday and drove it home! Showroom: Kevin O'Learys are the Based main dealership for Suzuki, Honda and Opel at their Silver Spring location. Their showroom has a large open feel to it and yet somehow they managed to have a varitey of beautiful cars within it! They keep more more cars out front of the building. They also have a wide range of secondhand cars ranging in makes and models and these are also located out from but also to the side of the building. There is definitely something for everyone! They also have bathrooms for customer use and they also offered us water or tea or coffee as we talked with the sales people. Servicing: She booked her car in for its first service recently for a 1pm to 5pm standard service. The team gave the car a full once over and she was very pleased and will bring the car back going forward. Location: Kevin O'Learys is located just below the Silversprings hotel on the Lower Glanmire Road in Tivoli and it is really easy to get to. Overall Experience: Dealing with Kenneth and the staff at Kevin O'Learys was definitely a smooth and straight forward experience for us as this was our first time purchasing a brand new car! My partner couldn't be happier with her car to this day and having dealt with Kenneth, he made the whole process a pleasure from start to finish and he was a true gentleman! Judging from my partner's experience, I highly recommend Kevin O'Learys for all your car needs in Cork! I know the team will help you find the perfect car for you! Thanks again Kenneth and the team, you made my partner's exerience of getting on the road in Ireland brilliant experience!
Had the car booked in for early in the morning so brought it down the evening before. Booked it in with a guy I think it was Diarmuid. IMA issues so paid €180 for a full diagnostics because my dad said the rear view mirror wasn't working when trying to move it with the controls. I think he may of said another issue aswel. Got a call the next day to say some cells are going in the hybrid battery battery. €5,500 for a new one and they said even if you wanted one they wouldn't be able to get one. Fair enough. Went to collect it and the guy said you still have a good petrol car. Which my dad was happy with. Next day car wouldn't start got jump leads and it started. I rang honda and asked the guy to these cars have an altenator. He said yes there is an altenator in the combustion engine. I researched it and apparently there is a generator that acts as a starter and altenator. So my dad rang again yesterday and enquired the guy on the phone said they have injectors not altenators. Could be wrong with injectors but the point is it doesn't have an altenator as the guy said. Also they only diagnosed the ima. And the guy on the phone yesterday got smart when I said to my dad to ask again just to confirm it doesn't have an altenator. I think it was Diarmuid. He should not be dealing with the public. No personality and too serious. Not a bit pleasant. Its bad enough getting bad news for a repair that will cost more than the car is worth and then you have this fella if he smiled his face would crack. Trust me I understand dealing with the public can be hard but it cost nothing to treat your customers with a bit of respect. And if you don't know about the car don't tell the customer just what they want to hear. I cant believe a qualified honda technician told him the car will drive away with a bad IMA. The 12 Volt battery needs the IMA system to be operating to charge. If anyone knows somebody that can recondition a hybrid assist battery for a 2010 civic could you please leave a review. Thanks.
