What fantastic service I received from Caimin at jd swords. I'd reviewed other dealers renault, mg and even though the id3 was slightly more expensive Caimin went through everything and convinced me it was the best choice. I'm delighted with my car and the service I received.

I have purchased 2 cars from this garage and the customer service from the moment I signed for my second car has been appalling. My second car (VW Polo) was purchased through a PCP agreement May of 2022. After I had signed for my PCP and cleared the loan on my old car they took the previous loan repayment out (out of contract) and it took 6 weeks of me chasing up every few days to finally get the refund. They made me feel humiliated for looking for a refund for money they had no right to take. I have just come to the end of my 3 year PCP contract and the only option I was given was to purchase a new car. I was told at the start of the contract I had 3 options and I would be contacted close to end of contract to come in and discuss these options and none of this was followed. As far as I was concerned I was going to receive a call to pay the settlement with no warning as I had to chase them for the settlement amount and date. I made it clear from the first phone call I would not be going ahead with a new car and would like to come in and discuss my options. I was contacted 3/4 more times about the car I had previously stated I wasn’t interested in. I sent numerous emails requesting my settlement figure and the date this had to be paid by and never once received a response. I finally went out and the manager was pleasant yes but didn’t listen to my full experience and how appalled I was. I asked 3 times in the garage what date my settlement had to be paid by and was told ‘it has no expiry date’. I paid my settlement this week and only today received a letter advising the settlement date was 3rd of June. I was never brought in to discuss my options for my PCP and the minute I made clear I was not Interested in a new car they lost all interest. I would advise everyone to avoid going here at all costs it is not worth the stress they have caused and there customer service is by far the worst I have ever ever experienced.

Recently bought a Golf from their Swords Garage. I have to say Caimin was a great man to deal with. My 1st choice wasn’t available but he helped me find a different car which I’m delighted with. He gave me all the information I needed, communicated really well and helped me pick up my new car as quick as possible as I was using a rental car for a few weeks. Would highly recommend

Recently went to test drive the new golf and polo 75 and to discuss the finance options available, was met with brilliant service from a staff member named Caimin. Was excellent help explaining the process for ordering the golf which I’m currently in the process in. Went out of his way to discuss and showcase the different options and vehicles available. Would definitely recommend to anyone seeking to purchase a new car

Avoid at all costs, the gearbox on my be tuigann allspace began to go into and out of emergency mode, looked up some vw forums and read that it was either damaged battery or faulty gearbox, brought it to Joe Duffy (I had bought the car new from them) and advised that I had been experiencing battery issues such as engine stating being a bit laboured and auto start/stop not working. Unfortunately the diagnosis was new gearbox required, they advised that the battery was fine, €2k later got the car back but the cruise control had been deactivated, rang the Joe Duffy and the insisted that this was a completely unrelated issue and insisted that I had to pay €190 upfront for a diagnostic test. Paid it and sent the car back, got a call to say that they couldn’t do the diagnostic test because the battery was dodgy and it would be another €450 for a new battery. When I told them my initial issue was in relation to the battery they insisted that the battery was fine two weeks previously and it was a separate issue, I had had enough and told them I’m taking the car back, got the battery replaced elsewhere and miraculously all my issues were resolved, starting works, auto stop start works and
