I was genuinely shocked this week when I brought my Mazda CX3 to get the yearly service done. One item on the bill was €115 for 'Investigation of an Oil Leak'. When I asked what the outcome of the investigation was they said ' yes, there's oil everywhere'. Fixing it would have been another €180 euro and parts would have been separately charged. Dividing service up into investigation, parts and repairs is a very thinly veiled extortion allowing them to charge exorbitantly for doing very little indeed. I've been o Joe Duffy customer for years and will definitely be bringing my business elsewhere.

For Mazda spare parts you have to go to the Kia dealership down the road. I'll stick to MSL Mazda on the North Circular in future e.g 5L engine oil JD Finglas 90euro. 5L engine oil MSL 60euro. Oil filter JD 24euro. Oil filter MSL 14 euro. Nice showroom though.

I have serviced my Mazda in Joe Duffy and I have had the best customer service I have ever received from a dealership. Matthew has been fantastic through the whole process, he is a credit to your company and a valued member of staff. He has been friendly, professional and extremely accommodating doing every he possibly could to help me from start to finish. Car valeting was just the cherry on top.

Over past couple months I was visiting various car dealerships in a search of the best floor. Accidentally I called over to Joe Duffy Mazda in Finglas. Immediately I felt that this was the best, shiniest floor so far. It was so smooth that if I got a good start at the front door – I could slide all the way to the sales desk. And this is where they got me. Out of the blue appeared Dylan, the sales executive. I had no quick way out, so I listened to his offers. I was even offered two test drives. Unusual for a guy who just wanted to have a good slide on a shiny floor. I left my contact details and left the dealership in haste. Given this was a bank holiday weekend – I was sure that the conversation will be forgotten. But no, to my surprise Dylan emailed me back with even better offer, so I had no other choice but pay the deposit. Refundable, I must stress, so there was still hope for me to back out of the deal. Unfortunately, the car was delivered on time in the agreed colour and spec. There was nothing more for me to do than return the courtesy and promptly pay the agreed price and collect the car. One would think that it would be the end of my good relationship with the dealership. As I was about to depart, Dylan chased me to the car, throwing at me extra free insurance policies, car cosmetics and optional extras. I barely escaped before the dealership went broke. One month later, my shiny new Mazda 2 is still the car I never knew I wanted, so I can wholeheartedly recommend Joe Duffy Mazda. They have the best, shiniest ceramic floors around. And their cars are great too.
