If I could leave a more negative review I would. My experience of the customer service at this dealership was appalling. I rang to book my car in for a full service and mentioned it was also due it’s NCT. The person on the phone told me I needed a pre NCT check. I stressed that no, it required a full service and listed some of the faults I was experiencing. This was then agreed. I mentioned I would need the car back by 2pm that day for school run, and was told to have it in by 8.20 that morning and it would be ready. I rang a further 2 times confirm this was the case, (both times took multiple attempts to get through, as calls rang out) and reiterated that it was booked in for a full service on both occasions. I dropped the car off at 8.20 as agreed. At approximately 12pm that day, I received a call to say my pre NCT check was carried out. They listed all the things that I needed to have repaired. They had done NONE of these things. I had scheduled a day off work and incurred a loss of earnings for nothing. They realised they were at fault and provided me with a courtesy car while my car was being repaired. Following its repair, they kindly brought it for NCT- I was advised this was as means of apology. I was grateful for this, and at this point in time, felt they had redeemed themselves. Carmel at reception then advised me later that day that it had failed on a low tyre pressure which was simply a visual fault, and they will remedy and retest. They did so and it passed. I collected the car the following morning at 12pm and was just handed my NCT cert. My bill had been paid in full over the phone the previous day. I did not receive a receipt, and later requested one to be emailed to me. I drove the car away without checking it over. I did not realise this was a thing you were meant to do… I would have expected that competent mechanics were repairing my car, with far superior knowledge than me, but this does not seem to be the case. Apparently with Ford, the client needs to check the work carried out post service, otherwise, any faults are their fault. I have never had this experience with any other mechanic I have been to. Upon collection, I drove to my first work stop, and was leaving there at 2pm when I noted my front left tyre was nearly flat.I pumped it up and I rang Ford, and was told to bring it back. I was in the middle of a working day so I could not. They offered to collect it from my place of work and I agreed. I provided my work address and they confirmed they knew where it was. I waited all day at work, and there was no sign. I rang at 5.50pm to find out what the story was, but got through to sales who tried to forward me to the service department. No one answered. The tyre held enough pressure to get me home. The next morning Carmel at reception rang me at about 9.10am. I honestly can say, I have never been treated so disrespectfully for something that was completely not my fault. She rang to give me a piece of her mind. She told me they had rang me 15 times…(Apparently they have proof)… I had no missed calls. My signal was perfect. I asked did she leave a voicemail. No. After 15 calls? That’s a bit strange. She said the guy they sent out saw my car and took a photo. (They have proof, interestingly, again, I have not seen proof).I asked why did he not call into my work- literally in front of where I had parked. No answer. She then said, it was my fault, that I must have run over something with the tyre and got a flat. I said this did not happen. I have driven this road for the last 5 years and never have I gotten a flat.. it seems a bit coincidental. She literally said the words “after all we have done for you”. She then went on about basically blaming me for the flat and we left it there. My service cost over €1300 and was paid in full. I then went and brought my “fully serviced car with new tyres” to a separate mechanic, who took off the wheel and showed me the problem was in fact a faulty valve. He didn’t even charge me. Thanks Ford.

Took our much loved V50 in for DPF change and glow bulbs. Exceptional service from Bill and his team. Thank you very much. Bill you go beyond the call of duty for customer satisfaction. Highly recommend this garage.

Unfortunately I found Bill, the service manager, to be rude and dismissive when I questioned him about bodged repairs to my car carried out by his team. He would not work with me at all, and made the whole experience of rectifying the issues difficult. Thankfully, another Ford garage that respects Ford’s brand and customers, is now rectifying Joe Duffy Ford’s wrongdoings under my Ford warranty, free of charge. Based on my experience with Bill where I was made out to be a liar and an inconvenience, I would not recommend dealing with the service department here.

I purchased a 2019 car for €19,000 in 2022. The car was sold to me with bald tyres, bad brakes, no spare tyre and within a week, the undertray had fallen off and weeks later, a wire burnt out. The car was not serviced on purchase and they also sold it to me with mouldy seatbelts. I was constantly lied to about my log book which I did not receive until two months post purchase despite numerous reassurances that it was in the post. In February 2023, my engine failed and Joe Duffy have refused to fix it, have told me it’s not actually worth fixing despite being a 2019 and my only solution is a new car at huge expense to me. I asked for an engineers report which they won’t provide, I’ve asked to speak to their mechanic which was denied and they won’t give an actual answer on what happened to the car. I have contacted SIMI and Joe Duffy have not replied to the complaint three weeks later. I am now four months without a car and they simply do not care. Avoid at all costs - their customer service is a joke and they show no empathy for the strain this has put on me mentally and financially.
