Unacceptable customer service skills. I arrive at the dealership and talk to this young fella (didn’t introduce himself) with glasses and facial hair. He was nice and professional until we were pointing out things wrong with the car. Excuses were health check was done on the car, the car is 12 years old, it’s a trade in?? It doesn’t matter if it’s a trade in or not it’s embarrassing to sell a car with rust and stone chips all over the bonnet, a corroded coolant pipe, black smoke coming out the engine cap aswell as the dipstick at such an expensive looking dealership. He didn’t know what he was talking about. No other options offered and the lack of care was just awful. When told what we really thought about the car that’s when things got ugly and we felt extremely unwelcome. Extremely rude staff, highly unprofessional and would never ever come back. Spend your money elsewhere don’t bother coming to a place that doesn’t even know what they’re talking about.
Bought a car here last week. All my dealing was with Paul who was very helpful. Gave me loads of time, no bothers test driving etc. Trade in of older car was made very straightforward and easy. Good experience overall and would buy here again.
Updated review after receiving reply and discussing with the dealership: The staff in there are helpful and kind. There was an instance where we didn’t see eye to eye, which isn’t always possible. There was an instance as well when the service charge, due to an expired plan, wasn’t mentioned apart from it being on a book in sheet that I didn’t read but rather just signed (that’s my mistake not their’s). Other than that, in majority it was all great. I would recommend the dealership and the team as they are lovely people; my not so good experience is perhaps due to car manufacturer choice. Thank you to the team for reaching out and clarifying some points!
Bought a car today 21/04 26,from James Barry. Dealt with Ger Sheehan for entire transaction. Ger was a pure gentleman to deal with. From start to finish everything went to plan. I saw A 2017 A 4 on line l rang receptionist to see a sale man. She told me nobody available there were busy so she said ring me back in 10 min so l said fine ; eventually nobody rang me back. I rang gain about 3 hours later and got through to sale man l ask him take trade in and he said yes in which ml get him reg or trade in car ; He took down my details and said he ring me back but nobody rang me back this was nearly 2 days now : l also ask him about car in which he didn’t know anything about car . Timing belt service or owners : he then said a customer had it out for the day on loan car in which l was fascinated by his actions in which he know nothing about car it wad with customer ; It be worst customer service l deal with in garage and l bought lot of car of garage, l wouldn’t deal be this garage in anyway or form; They don’t seem to know whet there doing; If car for sale it should be ready and not out with customers and history should be there and Then . Terrible customer service l must say
