We recently bought a new car from JJ Burkes and are delighted with both the vehicle and the customer service received during our purchase. We dealt with Ed who I must say was a fab salesman as he was very enthusiastic in his work which was quite infectious and is so encouraging to see in the youth of today!! He met us with a smile and positivity which lasted throughout all our interactions with him. No question was to much for Ed and he was very quick in his responses. I also had great customer satisfaction in the fact that if he didn't have an answer to a question he wouldn't try to fob us off with a make up response he would go off and seek the correct response and then come back to us. Thanks very much Ed, pleasure dealing with you and best of luck in your career going forward keep up the enthusias😃. We also receieved a follow up phonecall a few days after from Caroline to see if we were happy with the car and if we had any questions. I think this is a nice personal touch. Finally we are delighted with the new car which perfectly suits our needs. Overall brilliant service from JJ Burke Car Sales couldn't fault them during the purchase process.

I got the car with them recently. I didnt know how to buy the car and what do I need. I met david who figure it out what i might like, then i met Ed, who did great job with my paper work. Ed was really patient with me even when i was scared to drive 😅🤣. At the end i met lovely lady the accountant who explained and organised finance for me. Good team that deserves a rise 😉

STEER CLEAR! HOLDING €1000 DEPOSIT DESPITE CANCELLING SALE. I originally got hold of this dealer for a used Dacia Duster, which sold before I got the chance to purchase. I was asked to have a look at other stock online and found another car that interested me. This car was apparently on the brink of being sold too and my salesman said to put down a deposit asap to avoid it being sold too. Weirdly, €1000, I did €500, stupidly, as I couldnt free up funds instantly. I have little to no experience with the brand concerned and by pure chance got talking to one of this brands mechanics who said they are dreadful for electrical faults. I expressed my concerns to my salesman and asked to pull out of the sale of that vehicle. Not long after, I was offered a new Dacia Duster, in fairness, at a good price point. The vehicle was supposedly available in another dealership down the country and involved swapping one of JJB'S stock vehicles for that one (grey). I was told I could have the vehicle in roughly a week. After a short exchange I agreed and paid the balance of this €1000 deposit. The next day, things started to spiral. The available car wasn't grey, it was black but it could be available in similar time scale. I agreed. Fast forward a few weeks, no sign of the car. I then got a call to say my grey car wasn't part of the shipment (what shipment I dont know, this car was supposedly down the country). I expressed the fact id been told I was getting a black one, which confused things altogether. At this point, finance approval hadn't even been sought! A day after hearing from said finance person, I decided to cancel the purchase on basis of a constantly shifting delivery date and urgent need for a vehicle better suited to my needs. I had thought easy enough given no contract had been signed. This dealer is now holding my deposit and refusing to return it on the grounds of this having been "a custom order"! I was at no point asked about my preferences in regard to this car, only the trim level I was looking for, so im not sure how it becomes a custom order. My only option now, according to the manager is to either go ahead with the sale or buy another vehicle in their stock from them. At this stage, my vehicle has been replaced elsewhere. I couldn't afford to wait any longer! At time of writing this review, I am still down a €1000 deposit! Hopefully the courts will resolve the issue. Scandalous behaviour from a main dealer. Absolutely would not recommend any dealings on basis of my experience.

Had an extremely positive welcoming experience with Yordan at JJ Burke's. He was very professional, patient, humorous, and listened to us. No pressure. Kept to his word. Very efficient person. Had all the paperwork ready and no delays. Highly recommend Yordan to anyone thinking of changing their car. Finola and Martin mellett
