My mum Bought a 242 new Kuga in July 2024. Had continuous decline in the electric battery when fully charged. Brought this to the dealers attention on numerous occasions and was not taken seriously. Finally spoke to the service department and they said they would reset the battery. I was only getting 30km on a 60km battery range at this point. On my way to the garage to have this reset on January 17th 2025 when the panoramic roof shattered and buckled spontaneously while driving. Nothing hit the glass. Customer service is atrocious. I don’t feel safe driving a defective car when fixed. They now want to take the courtesy car off me and give me a hire car instead. Still waiting for this to be resolved. It’s appalling how she has been treated.

I usually would steer clear of main dealers, with the age of my car and the conception of them being ridiculously expensive but this was the complete opposite, when I brought my car in for a service I was told I needed a lot of work done to my car accommodated w a video in strong detail which gave me a better understanding of car care. I would highly recommend anyone to go through Stephen in the service department as he went above and beyond for me and get me the best price as possible. I would highly recommend anyone to bring their car here my 2008 focus now feels like a 2016 one.

I strongly advise anyone considering their services to be cautious. I am extremely disappointed with the recent service I received, especially considering that I have been a loyal customer for nearly a decade. I trusted this business to take care of my car, only to have them damage the paintwork. To make matters worse, nobody informed me it happened, I had to find out when I got home, when I raised the issue, not only were they very slow to respond, they outright refused to take responsibility or fix the damage. This level of service is not what I expected from a company I’ve supported for so long. The lack of accountability and customer care is truly unacceptable,

I always find them very helpful and friendly. They give you the price of service in advance also if there is any additional work they ring in advance to get the work approved.

We would like to thank Leo and the rest of Cork City Ford for their fantastic service and commitment to customers. We had a couple of hiccups ourselves, but Cork City Ford and Leo stuck with us, through and through, and we ended up with our gorgeous new car. Thank you again.
