No issues with the service customer experience. I needed to reschedule my original date which I could do within a reasonable time. There was a driver available to bring me back to Wexford town with no waiting. The service desk contacted me about extra essential rear brake work before proceeding and the follow on report and video were comprehensive
I’ve never felt compelled to write a negative review before, but my experience with Audi Wexford has been nothing short of frustrating, costly, and frankly, unacceptable. I was driving my car with absolutely no issues when I received a call from Audi Wexford inviting me to book in for a service. Fair enough – I agreed and scheduled an appointment for June, several months in advance. When the time came, I brought the car in for what I expected to be a standard service. They carried out a brake change, replaced parts like shock absorbers, air filters, and a few other components. According to them, all checks were passed with no problems. However, when I picked the car up later that day, I immediately noticed that the air conditioning wasn’t working – not only was it non-functional, but it was also making strange, concerning noises. Unfortunately, I collected the car late in the day, so I had to wait until the following morning to report the issue. I rang them, sent over a video of what was happening, and was told to bring the car back in. This began a ridiculous back-and-forth. I live 50 minutes away (each way), and when I brought the car in again, I was told their system wasn’t working, meaning I had to return yet again. That’s four separate visits in total just to fix problems that, in my opinion, shouldn’t have existed in the first place. Eventually, they diagnosed an issue with the AC motor – something I’m very suspicious about, given that it was working perfectly before the service. This isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad experience either. During a previous visit, I had the clutch replaced, and afterwards my steering wheel was completely misaligned. It’s becoming a pattern: I drop the car off for one thing, and suddenly there are new problems I never had before. While they did offer a discount on the part, I still had to pay €450 for something that was fully functional before I brought the car in. And just when I thought it was over, less than 10 days after the service, the engine oil light came on. I sent them a photo of the dashboard and their response was to “top it up” and it should be fine. Seriously? In total, I spent around €2,000 on this service – not just financially, but in time, effort, and stress. It’s honestly baffling. I’ve used Audi Dublin before and never had such issues. Audi Wexford seriously needs to look into the work their engineers are doing, because at this point it feels like every time I bring my car in, it leaves in worse condition. Safe to say I’ll never be returning to Audi Wexford again.
